It’s the end of an era. The Spring semester has come to an end and it’s happy and exciting but sad at the same time. A lot of knowledge was learned, and friends were made. This time was filled with many beautiful memories from moving to a new city on my own to meeting people that are completely different from me. Something that stood out completely was that these people even if there were from different cultural backgrounds the respect and understanding of each other were impressive and something that I never thought possible coming from a place that is run with a lot of judgment.

The knowledge from the Digital Marketing class was everything I dream of and everything I wasn’t hoping for. My expectation was made and integrating the digital platform into the different marketing plans was a lot easier than I would have expected. Digital marketing is a whole new and exciting world, it has a lot to learn and a lot to teach to every person out there. From e-commerce to websites to buying ads on social was not something I would learn how to do in class, but everything was interactive and a lot more fun.
Coming without expectation to a class like this was better because we would be learning new things every week and covering most of the topics that are to learn from a digital marketing perspective. Working with active brands for the final project made everything more real and expose us to the real world and how everything works. Our team brand was Peloton and we worked together to make everything run smoothly and saw a lot of opportunities to grow as individuals and to grow with a company.
The dynamic between the professor and the classmates was something I will miss once we go on break since it was my first in-person semester after 2 years. The friendships, the laughs, and the learning experience were much better and more than what you would expect after being back in a classroom for years.

It’s sad to say goodbye but I leave with the gratification that my life changed but only for the better. For now, we say I’ll see you soon and have a good life while we meet again.
